The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will play a key role in helping students achieve academic, social, and personal success within a supportive learning environment.
We Are Looking For Teachers With Experience Supporting:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
* Complex learning needs
* Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
* ADHD and associated learning needs
* Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Develop and implement personalised learning strategies.
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
* Previous experience teaching children with SEN, either within specialist or mainstream settings.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners.
* ECTs with relevant SEN placement experience are encouraged to apply.
