Position: Process Reliability Engineer - Sussex
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience
Location: This role will be 2/3 days WFH and 2/3 days travelling to different Sussex sites or at an office in the Sussex area.
We are recruiting a Process Reliability Engineer based in Sussex. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to ensure high standards of asset maintenance, aiming to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
The role involves expanding the team to focus on delivering strategies within Wastewater, transitioning from reactive to planned maintenance, and establishing a reliability-centered maintenance approach during our AMP 8 investment period.
You will design and implement RCM strategies to maintain assets cost-effectively, ensuring reliability, legislative, and environmental compliance.
This includes monitoring maintenance strategies through asset performance data, asset information review, surveillance, and KPI trending to improve uptime and efficiency.
Reliability studies such as FMECA and RCA assessments will be conducted to enhance asset performance. Industry standards and best practices will be applied in daily asset engineering activities.
You will also create and maintain detailed documentation of reliability strategies, maintenance procedures, failure analysis, and best practices.
Requirements for success include:
* Thorough knowledge of wastewater operational equipment and processes.
* Knowledge of FMECA, RCA, Reliability Block Diagrams (not essential)
* Experience in analyzing, operating, and maintaining assets
* Ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
* Effective cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Flexible approach with an engaging personal style
* Strong logical and analytical skills, with excellent planning abilities
* A Process Engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
