Responsibilities
* Perform taking off and measurement of quantities, and establishing detailed BOQ
* Source, review and negotiation of quotations
* Work closely and liaise with both internal and external project stakeholders
* Attend project meetings including site walks for progress claims’ evaluation
* Project budget and cost control including prepare monthly financial budget report and presentations (For Senior position)
* Prepare RFQ Subcontract tender documents, analyze and prepare cost comparison, post tender clarifications, tender interview, and award recommendation report
* Sub-Contract administration including handling contractual documentation, correspondences and disputes matters
* Assess, verify and respond to subcontractor's monthly progress claim, final account and variation orders in a timely manner
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or in related disciplines (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil & Structural Engineering)
* At least 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in construction industry, preferably with LTA MRT project, with additional preference for experience in major RC works
* Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
* Knowledge of PSSCOC and/or REDAS and /or SIA standard forms of Contracts
* Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
