About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer with at least two years of marketing experience to join our growing marketing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive client engagement, enhance our brand visibility, and support our business aims. You will have broad and generalist responsibilities including event management, digital marketing & social media, content, copywriting, comms and performance marketing,

Our Marketing team plays a central role in shaping and communicating the firm’s brand, driving growth, and supporting client engagement across all sectors and services. As a key function within the business, the team develops and delivers integrated marketing strategies that align with the firm’s strategic objectives and reinforce our reputation as a leading law firm.

Working closely with fee earners, support teams and external partners, the team brings together expertise in digital marketing, content creation, brand management, events, and communications. Whether crafting compelling thought leadership, managing high-impact campaigns, or enhancing our digital presence, the team is committed to delivering measurable results that support both client acquisition and retention.

You’ll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team where creativity, learning, and career development are championed. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of marketing activities, contribute to high-profile projects, and help drive forward the marketing efforts of a leading UK law firm in a fast-paced and evolving legal landscape.


Key responsibilities

Marketing planning & reporting

* Development and implementation of comprehensive departmental and product marketing plans aligned with the firm’s business goals.
* Market research to on industry trends, competitor activities, horizon scanning and opportunities for growth.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to define marketing aims and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, to gauge ROI and produce monthly reports and management information.

Digital

* Create engaging and innovative digital assets for use across all online platforms & social media channels.
* Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
* Analyse website and social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

Brand management

* Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels, and sub-brands.
* Develop and manage content for the firm's website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other marketing materials.

Content & comms creation

* Produce high-quality, relevant and engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, articles, case studies, and press releases that are well-informed and industry specific.
* Coordinate with legal teams to gather insights and create content that highlights the firm's expertise and thought leadership.
* Stakeholder engagement with internal and external customers.
* Work in partnership with the Business Development Team to produce marketing collateral which supports the Bids & Tenders process.

Events

* Inspire, create and manage the external and internal event programme - from small-scale lunch and learns to conferences and high-profile corporate hospitality events; and effectively communicate all events to key stakeholders across the business.
* Proactively manage every aspect of the planning stage, from budget to sourcing a venue, negotiating costs, advertising, liaising with third party suppliers, ordering merchandise, monitoring delegate attendance, and producing a full running order.
* Confidently manage the delivery of events, providing an on-site presence and acting as an ambassador for the business.

Client relationship management

* Support the development and implementation of client engagement strategies.
* Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions and manage client data.
* Conduct client satisfaction surveys and analyse feedback to inform marketing strategies.

Skills & Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
* Strong understanding of generalist marketing principles.
* A comprehensive grasp of event management processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using marketing software and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Vuture, HubSpot Mailchimp).
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to analyse and report on campaigns with recommendations for future improvements and development.
* Knowledge of the legal industry and its regulatory environment is a plus.
