Litigation Paralegal

Join a reputable law firm in Haywards Heath as a Litigation Paralegal within the Dispute Resolution team. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive individual with experience in litigation, offering high-quality work and progression opportunities in a friendly and collaborative environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist solicitors in managing caseloads across various litigation matters including civil disputes, commercial litigation, debt recovery, property disputes, and contentious probate.
* Draft legal documents such as court forms, witness statements, instructions to counsel, trial bundles, and correspondence.
* Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries for fee earners.
* Manage incoming correspondence, diarise deadlines, and track key dates for court filings and hearings.
* Liaise professionally and efficiently with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties.
* Prepare and paginate court bundles for hearings, trials, and mediations.
* Maintain accurate file records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide general administrative support to the litigation team as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant (minimum 1 year ideally).
* Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation processes.
* Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Proficient in MS Office and case management systems.
* A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (LPC/SQE preparation advantageous but not essential).
* A proactive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently.
