Overview:
HGA's Digital Practice Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator/BIM Lead to join our Strategic Projects Team. This individual will support project teams in implementing and developing BIM workflows, providing user support, troubleshooting, and content creation. The role involves engaging with project teams and BIM coordinators across the firm, and may include serving as a production coordinator for architectural, structural, and MEP models.
The position requires experience with BIM in healthcare, science/technology, higher education, corporate, and government buildings. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is needed. A good understanding of project workflows from design to construction is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with BIM coordination and management on key projects
* Develop technical plans, protocols, and workflows for BIM implementation
* Ensure BIM quality and standards adherence across projects
* Configure and customize design and production applications
* Provide training and technical support to staff
* Maintain and update standards, templates, and content
* Develop project-specific families and manage model health
* Troubleshoot issues in Revit, Navisworks, Rhino
* Coordinate BIM workflows with project teams and external partners
Minimum Requirements:
* Architectural or Engineering degree
* Revit certification preferred
* At least 5 years of relevant experience, 10 preferred
* Experience with design technology software and problem-solving
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Knowledge of construction types and 3D modeling
* Strong graphic and communication skills
* Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office; intermediate Rhino, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite
* Understanding of project workflows from design to construction
Salary:
The salary range is $75,600 - $130,200, based on experience, education, licensure, and skills. Benefits include bonuses, 401(k), parental leave, insurance, PTO, and disability programs.
