Job Title: Outpatients Department Receptionist
You will work as part of a busy team, where respect and integrity are core values that drive our department. This is a dynamic role with varying demands, requiring you to build effective rapport with colleagues, accept guidance, and offer support as needed.
The post holder will provide high-quality reception and support services within the Outpatients Department. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, their relatives, the public, and a wide range of multi-professional staff both within and outside the Trust.
A versatile approach is crucial, as you will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the accurate and timely input of patient information into the Patient Administration System (PAS), following 'real-time data entry' protocols.
2. Carrying out all tasks in accordance with Trust policies on data collection and confidentiality, maintaining the utmost confidentiality in all matters.
3. Inputting codes onto PAS for all RTT, HRG, and local procedures.
