Highway Barrier Solutions are specialist in vehicle restrain systems (VRS) and traffic management services. Operating across Northern Ireland and Scotland, HBS provides the complete service to our clients.
HBS has a skilled in-house workforce and the required specialist plant required to provide these services. In addition, they have strategically placed depots In Northern Island - Belfast and Ballymoney plus Scotland – Bonnybridge, Shotts, Lockerbie and Perth.
About the role of Office Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team at HBS. The successful candidate will be reporting to the office in Shotts.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
8. Undertake key administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
9. Manage travel arrangements for workers
10. Assist with the onboarding process for the workers
11. Accurate filing and storing of workers data (paper and electronic)
12. Promote the company’s values across the site
13. Contribute to projects when required
14. Implement the Vehicle and Plant maintenance plan
15. Undertake other duties as and when required
What good looks like for an Office Administrator
16. Have a right to work in the UK
17. Experience working in a similar role
18. Experience of working in a busy environment
19. Strong written and verbal communication skills
20. Excellent attention to detail
21. Ability to organise and prioritise workload
22. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
23. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages particularly, Excel, Outlook and Word.
24. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requirements and demands effectively.

25. Engineering or Construction background (Desirable not essential)
26. Live within travelling distance to Shotts
27. Full UK Driving Licence
