Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be partnered with a highly respected and established mental health provider in the search for a Consultant Psychiatrist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced psychiatrist to join one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist mental health services.
This position offers the chance to make a significant impact within a low secure forensic service that supports 13 male patients - all with sub-diagnoses of autism and/or learning disabilities. You will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team, including a Specialty Doctor, and report directly to the Medical Director.
Essential Requirements
* Full GMC registration with a license to practise (without conditions)
* Approved Clinician and Section 12 Approval
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist
* Proven background working in learning disability and inpatient mental health settings
* Inclusion on the Specialist Register for Learning Disabilities Psychiatry

Interview Process
* 1st stage: Informal meeting with the Medical Director and a senior colleague
* 2nd stage: Formal interview with the Hospital Director and Regional Managing Director
