Salary: Basic salary of £27,803.20, with potential earnings up to £34,523.20 including sleep-in shifts.
Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader? We are seeking a Residential Home Team Leader to join our dedicated Children's Home Team at Bayview. Located in the heart of Capernwray, Carnforth, our family-oriented home accommodates a maximum of four young people, providing a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Your Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding young people aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Your mission will be to:
* Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home.
* Ensure a safe, secure, and positive environment for our residents.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our 'Outstanding' rated service.
* Step in for the Registered Manager when they are not present.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you must:
* Hold a full UK driving license.
* Possess a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.

Your Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you will ensure:
* Care plans are meticulously created and reviewed for each child.
* All legal and Ofsted standards are consistently met.
* Feedback from residents and stakeholders is communicated effectively.
* Staff adhere to the agreed standards of behavior and professionalism.
* Positive relationships are built with the children, enhancing their quality of life.
Business Management and Improvement
In your role, you will also:
* Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home.
* Ensure budget compliance and quality food standards.
* Lead staff meetings to foster open communication and collaboration.
* Propose ideas for the home’s development and improvement.
Staff Management
As a leader, you will:
* Manage staff fairly and consistently, minimizing turnover.
* Address staff management issues promptly and professionally.
* Conduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
