The Role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering diverse engineering projects from inception through to completion. Your daily activities will include liaising with clients and suppliers, defining project scope, developing plans, managing resources, overseeing project risk assessments, and ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery. You will provide technical direction to the project team and maintain detailed documentation including manuals, reports, and legal permits.
you will have the following qualifications & experience
Proven experience in delivering engineering projects with a strong understanding of project lifecycles and stakeholder engagement
Extensive practical engineering experience, including installation, refurbishment, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment
In-depth knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical reports
Capable of conducting risk assessments and drafting technical documentation such as method statements and operating manuals
Formal vocational qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and experience working within these frameworks
