We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our client who is based in Darlington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to project trackers, continuously monitoring and updating progress.
Manage document control, archiving, and organisation of project files.
Maintain site files post-visit, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Prepare and distribute job packs both physically and via internal platforms.
Check site equipment in and out effectively.
Organise hire and off-hire of plant equipment, liaising with staff and external clients.
Raise and process project-related paperwork to ensure compliance and understanding.
Provide support to site workers with additional documentation as required.
Retrieve and prepare Health & Safety (H&S) files and O&M information.
React and adapt to emergency jobs or situations arising from ongoing projects.
About You
Proven experience as an administrator within the construction industry (essential).
Familiarity with Job Logic or other CRM/project management systems (preferred).
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
