Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Office-Based – London Borough of Bexley Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (Depending on experience) Industry: Passive Fire Protection Company: CBW Recruitment (on behalf of a leading Fire Protection Contractor) About the Role: CBW Recruitment are working with a well-established contractor within the Passive Fire Protection industry, who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bexley, South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong project pipeline across commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate will take ownership of cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting for passive fire projects, with genuine career progression available based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans Conduct valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts Manage project variations and change control procedures Ensure compliance with contractual terms and financial governance Provide commercial input to project planning and risk management Liaise with clients, site teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Support tender processes and pricing for new works Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fire protection or passive fire industry Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (e.g., BSc, HND, or equivalent) Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost control processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Excel and industry-standard estimating software Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Must be eligible to work in the UK and based within commuting distance of Bexley What’s on Offer: Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (based on experience) Office-based role with travel to sites as required Clear pathway for career progression Supportive and growing business with a strong market presence Exposure to major passive fire projects across London and the South East To apply, please send your CV or contact CBW Recruitment for more details.
