We have an exciting opportunity for a GPHC registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Education and Training Team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Lead Pharmacy Technician, Education & Training and the Lead Pharmacist for Education, Training & Workforce in the coordination, implementation, development and delivery of training programmes for pharmacy trainees.
* Work cross‑site, travelling to all premises providing pharmaceutical services to support training programmes.
* Collaborate closely with senior members of the pharmacy E&T team and the wider pharmacy team to develop and support learners and supervisors, ensuring an effective, inclusive and innovative learning environment.
* Manage training programmes for Level 2 apprenticeship, Pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPTs), Trainee Pharmacists (TPs) and Foundation Pharmacists (FPs).
* Assist with the coordination of cross‑sector, undergraduate and work‑experience placements.
* Act as Educational Supervisor, Practice Supervisor or Expert Witness as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* GPHC registered Pharmacy Technician.
* Experience training others in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a UK hospital.
* Exceptional organisational skills and a strong people‑person attitude.
* Motivated team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
* Ability to travel between King George Hospital, Goodmayes, and Queen's Hospital, Romford.
