Were recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join our clients busy Logistics Control Tower team based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest or background in freight forwarding, international trade, or supply chain operations. What Youll Do: As part of the team, youll support the smooth movement of goods globally by: Managing shipping documentation, commercial invoices, and packing lists (CIPLs) Coordinating with carriers, consignees, and freight forwarders Tracking freight using AWBs (Airway Bills) and MBLs (Master Bills of Lading) Supporting with customs details like HS Codes, Country of Origin (COO), and Incoterms Working with purchase orders, transport instructions, and logistics data Maintaining accurate records and supporting clients with timely updates Skills & Experience Were Looking For: Strong administrative skills and attention to detail Good Excel knowledge (you may be tested on): Formatting (dates, numbers) AutoSum, sorting/filtering, VLOOKUP Pivot Tables (basic use) Understanding of international trade terms (full training will be given): CIPLs, Gross vs Net weight, HS Codes, Incoterms, AWB/MBL Previous experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain is a bonus Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment Location & Hours Location: CEVA Logistics, CEVA House, Excelsior Road, Ashby LE65 1NU Working Hours: 07:00 15:30 or 08:30 17:00 (Monday to Friday) Weekend cover may be required once fully trained Initially fully office-based, then hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH) post-training Whats on Offer Competitive pay: £12.49 per hour, paid weekly Full training and onboarding support Excellent long-term career prospects in logistics Hybrid working model after training Dynamic and collaborative team environment Ready to Join?
