Role Title: Lecturer in Criminology (Social Sciences)
Location: Yale 6th
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £33,596 to £51,932 - Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine
We are recruiting a Criminology Lecturer to lead and deliver A-level and Vocational Criminology at our Yale site. As with all A-level provision at Cambria, there will be a requirement to deliver the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales qualification also
To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence lecturing in Criminology, Social Sciences and be educated to degree level.
As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom-based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities, as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.
Essential Requirements
1. Qualified to at least Level 6/Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area
2. Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
3. Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
4. Competent digital literacy skills
5. Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
