Tuesday: 11:00am - 1:00pm
Thursday: 11:00am - 1:00pm
Delivery: Face-to-face (not online)Premier Education is working in partnership with a setting in the Wilmslow area seeking a dedicated and supportive Tutor to work face-to-face with a KS4 student. This role involves delivering tailored support in Functional Skills or English Language, or Maths GCSE, depending on the candidate's strengths.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a 1:1 basis, helping a student build confidence, develop core skills, and achieve their academic potential.
Role Overview:
Delivering 1:1 tuition to a KS4 student (face-to-face sessions only)
Supporting learning in Functional Skills, English Language, or Maths GCSE
Planning and adapting sessions to meet the student's individual needs
Building a positive and encouraging learning relationship
Monitoring progress and providing feedback
Candidate Requirements:
Experience teaching or tutoring at KS4 level
Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths
Ability to engage and motivate learners on a 1:1 basis
A patient, flexible, and supportive approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
