We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our expanding team in Manchester. The team has recently extended into safeguarding and Duty functions, and you will provide critical support during staff leave absences over a 3-month period. Key Responsibilities: Undertake safeguarding assessments and Duty function responsibilities as required. Provide senior-level social work expertise and guidance within the team. Support children, families, and vulnerable adults, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver timely, effective social work interventions. Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in social work, ideally in a senior role. Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and social care procedures. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills. Working Arrangements: Office-based during initial induction (2 weeks). After induction, hybrid working may be available depending on operational needs of the team.
