About the Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will become an integral part of our school community, directly supporting our teachers and pupils. You'll gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge, learning about child development, effective teaching strategies, and classroom management. This comprehensive apprenticeship programme is designed to equip you with the essential skills to excel as a qualified Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities - What You'll Be Doing:

Direct Pupil Support: Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning, help with activities, and ensure they understand tasks.

Classroom Preparation: Assist teachers in preparing engaging learning resources and maintaining a stimulating and tidy classroom environment.

Promoting Engagement: Encourage active participation from all pupils and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Behaviour Support: Help to implement the school's behaviour policies, promoting a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Monitoring Progress: Assist in observing and recording pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers.

Pastoral Care: Support the well-being of pupils, listening to their needs and fostering their confidence.

Team Collaboration: Work closely and professionally with teachers, other teaching assistants, and school staff to support our educational goals.

Apprenticeship Learning: Commit fully to your apprenticeship training, including attending workshops, completing assignments, and building your portfolio of evidence.

Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times, adhering to all school policies and procedures.
