At Teaching Personnel, we are working alongside one of the best performing secondary schools within the New Malden area who are seeking a High-Level Teaching Assistant who has experience with working with children with Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN) as well as Hearing and Vison impairments to join the team. The role:
As a SEN Teaching assistant, you will:
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, mainly Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN) as well as Hearing and Vison impairments
* Work 1:1 with students who require additional support.
* Demonstrating a proactive and empathetic approach to supporting SEN students.
* Reflecting on and improving your practice through self-evaluation and CPD.
Candidate specification:
* Experience working with children with SEN, primarily (SLCN) in a school or similar setting.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Have the vision, skills and energy to provide the best opportunity for every child
