6-10 hour contract.
Shifts are on Saturdays ( between 11am and 10pm) and Sundays (between 11am and 8pm), and are allocated on a weekly rota.
There may be opportunity for covering shifts on midweek evenings.
About Us: Twist is Plymouth's only Board Game Cafe Bar. Serving great food and craft drinks alongside a library of 600+ board games. We're open from 11am until midnight, perfect for good times any time of day.
To join our Front of House Team you will need to be over 18 due to alcohol service.
As a Front of House Team Member, you'll be greeting and seating customers, explaining how Twist works, taking orders, serving tables, recommending games, clearing tables, keeping the place clean and tidy and taking payments.
You will need to have:
* Awesome customer service skills, and be passionate about giving each customer an exciting and memorable experience.
* Great interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Excellent teamwork skills and be supportive of your colleagues by being flexible and working together.
* The ability to work in a busy environment, multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
* Great listening skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
* Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
* The ability to work under own initiative and take responsibility for your duties.
The following are not essential, but would be beneficial. If you have any of the below please provide details in your application:
* experience waiting tables in a restaurant/cafe/bar or similar
* experience in another hospitality setting,
* bartending experience,
* barista experience,
* a knowledge of modern board games,

Christmas period availability is a must - everyone has Christmas Day & Boxing Day off. The rest of the Christmas period - including Christmas Eve and NYE - is allocated on a rota, the whole team works some days and gets some off.
