Create and implement ILPs and contribute to EHCP targets, monitoring and reporting on progress. Use effective teaching, behaviour management, and emotional‑regulation strategies. Build positive relationships as a key adult, providing consistent pastoral support. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies. Uphold safeguarding duties and promote student welfare and well‑being. Communicate clearly with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues. Engage in CPD, staff meetings, and multi‑agency reviews to enhance practice. Maintain high professional standards, attendance, and conduct. Manage the daily organisation of your class and support the smooth running of the school. Who We’re Looking For Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Experience supporting students with SEMH needs, trauma informed practice or special education.
