Role Overview
As a Team Leader in HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS), you will be responsible for guiding a customer‑focussed administrative team to deliver excellent support and service to courts, judiciary and the public. Your role will involve prioritising workload, motivating staff for high performance, analysing operational data, reviewing processes, and implementing improvements and new legislation. You will also contribute to service‑standard targets and provide statistical reporting to management.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve performance objectives.
* Ensure team work is prioritised and organised, meeting delivery deadlines and quality standards.
* Monitor and analyse performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend operational improvements.
* Navigate change, manage implementation of new initiatives and legislation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Ability to motivate and support staff to achieve effective performance and customer service.
* Experience working in an administrative role within a customer‑focussed environment.
* IT proficiency with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software packages.
* Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
Requirements
* UK citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid Skilled Worker visa issued prior to 22 July 2025.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom for the Civil Service.
