Role:

PwC has the UK's largest Local Public Services consultancy team. We work with Councils, Housing Associations, Charities, and devolved Governments across the country.

We are expanding our Local Public Services team within the Enterprise Transformation (ET) Consulting Practice, focusing on transforming how our clients operate at an organization-wide level.

Our team helps clients adapt to changing demands by leveraging evidence, organization-wide operating models, and technology, with a focus on functions like Social Care and Housing.

We seek motivated individuals experienced in cost reduction, procurement, and operational improvements in public services, preferably with a consulting background.

Passion for the future of public services and a desire to make a difference are essential.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver transformation programs as part of the LPS team.
* Manage multiple clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above.
* Establish and maintain effective client relationships.
* Develop technical skills within the team.
* Stay informed on business and economic issues.
* Participate in business development activities.

Focus Areas:

Cost Reduction & Procurement

* Identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Design and implement procurement strategies.
* Manage contracts and supplier relationships.

Operational Improvement

* Review operations for efficiency.
* Drive process improvements.
* Support change management and implementation.

Digital Transformation

* Reimagine procurement and commercial functions.
* Utilize data and technology for smarter services.
* Embed digital tools into operations.

Candidate Profile:

* Experience in the public sector or supporting public sector clients.
* Proven record in transformation, cost savings, or procurement.
* Ability to demonstrate measurable benefits.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Familiarity with digital tools and technologies, including AI.
* Willingness to travel.
