Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for English and a desire to make a real difference in a unique educational setting? We're currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving Alternative Provision (AP) school in Burnley for a full-time HLTA to work across the English department.

* Support the planning and delivery of English lessons under the guidance of teaching staff
* Lead small group sessions and interventions, particularly focused on literacy and communication
* Support pupils with diverse and often complex needs, helping them to re-engage with their learning
* Contribute to the development of creative, flexible approaches to English that inspire and motivate
* Help track progress and provide constructive feedback to both pupils and teachers
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and confidence in the classroom
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or extensive TA experience with the ability to lead lessons
* Strong literacy skills and a passion for English
* Experience working in a PRU, AP, or with pupils who present behavioural or emotional needs (desirable)
* A calm, consistent, and resilient approach
* Ability to build strong relationships with young people who may have previously disengaged from education
