Cyber Security Assurance Specialist – Taunton hybrid – 18 month FTC – £55 K – £65 K
Location: 2 days a week in Taunton, Somerset
Contract: 18 month Fixed Term Contract
Clearance Required: MOD DV Clearance (Mandatory)
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Security Assurance Coordinator to support a MOD end client engagement. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national security initiatives within a TS Facility, ensuring robust InfoSec and compliance standards across JSP frameworks.
This role is ideal for someone with strong MOD experience, deep understanding of JSP and InfoSec protocols, and current MOD DV clearance. You’ll be embedded in a high trust environment, working closely with stakeholders to uphold security assurance across sensitive operations.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate security assurance activities across MOD‑aligned projects
* Ensure compliance with JSP and InfoSec standards within a TS Facility
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high assurance levels
* Provide guidance on risk mitigation and security best practices
* Support audits, assessments, and documentation aligned with MOD protocols
Requirements
* MOD DV Clearance – must be active and valid
* Proven experience working with MOD clients or within MOD environments
* Strong understanding of JSP and InfoSec frameworks
* Experience in high‑assurance, secure facilities (TS Facility exposure preferred)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
