SF Recruitment are working with a fantastic organisation based in central Birmingham in the recruitment of a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will provide the business with accurate and timely financial information, ensure all systems and processes minimise any financial risk in an efficient manner. Key tasks:
- Complete and present accurate and timely month end accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cashflow) and forecasts with incisive analysis and commentary
- Complete and submit to the pension providers the monthly pension report and ensure payment in line with regulatory deadlines
- Responsible for the budgeting and management of overheads to ensure the best quality and most cost-effective solution
- Continually review, maintain, and improve P&L and Cash-Flow forecasting and reporting
- Prepare and submit any necessary government grant returns, claims and reports to the relevant external bodies
- Manage the annual audit to ensure a successful clean audit opinion and Statutory Accounts within agreed deadlines
- Provide support as and when required on the consolidation of annual budgets
