Overview
Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Materials Handler/Stores Person to join their team in Littlehampton. This is a contract position, ideal for individuals with a background in stores, materials, and stock control within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
* Counting stock to maintain accurate inventory levels
* Assembling components into kits as per specifications
* Inputting data onto the computer system for inventory management
* Keeping work areas clean and tidy to ensure a safe working environment
* Performing general warehouse duties as required
Job Requirements
* Experience in stores, materials, and stock control
* Background in warehouse operations within the manufacturing sector
* Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Hours
* 40 hours per week
* 7am - 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday)
* 7am - 12pm (Friday)
