Process Manager – Food Manufacturing
We are looking for a Process Manager to drive continuous quality improvement across our production, product development and technical teams. You will embed yourself in the factory operation, become the NPD factory process expert, audit processes, monitor day‑to‑day operations, validate equipment and support the introduction of new and improved processes.
Location: UK Headquarters, Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Responsibilities
* Identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce failure and minimise variability.
* Support new and improved product trials and conduct extended process trials post launch.
* Lead process audits, investigations on failure or complaints and on‑going process validation of equipment and operations.
* Engage with key internal stakeholders to establish quality attributes, standards and cost‑saving opportunities.
* Drive the quality agenda forward, resolve process‑driven quality complaints and provide training to process stakeholders.
About you – Essential
* Sound operational experience in a food processing environment.
* Strong understanding of food quality, impact parameters and improvement levers.
* Methodical, detail‑oriented with a proactive hands‑on approach.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
* Independent, self‑directed, capable of managing short‑term priorities and collaborating across departments.
* Customer focused and passionate about great food.
About you – Desirable
* Degree or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrable track record of successful process development in ready meals or chilled/frozen food manufacturing.
* Experience in ready‑meal manufacturing.
