Due to the nature of the work being carried out, the successful candidate will need to have a Full (Clean) UK Driving Licence and be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check which will be carried out by the company.
Landscape Services are looking for a dedicated, proactive and safety-conscious Grounds Maintenance Operative to play a key role in delivering high‑quality grounds maintenance across a range of customer sites.
This role would suit someone with practical grounds maintenance experience or a strong interest in horticulture, offering the opportunity to develop skills, work independently and build confidence operating machinery and equipment.

What you’ll be doing
Carrying out ground’s maintenance tasks across multiple sites to meet contract requirements.
Using machinery and equipment safely and correctly to deliver high‑quality results.
Supporting seasonal and specialist works including grass cutting, hedge trimming and sports field marking.
Completing daily records, inspections and paperwork accurately.
Identifying issues with equipment or sites and reporting them promptly.
Maintaining safe working practices and contributing to a positive health and safety culture.
Liaising with customers on site to resolve queries and ensure satisfaction.
Working independently and as part of a team to deliver planned work efficiently.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related practical outdoor role.
Strong understanding of safe working practices and equipment use.
The ability to work independently, manage your workload and use your initiative.
Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
A reliable, friendly and professional approach.
Horticulture knowledge, machinery maintenance skills and PA1/PA6 qualifications are desirable but not essential.
