Service Coordinator
Location: Ilford/Hainault Office
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
On-call: 1 week in 7 (telephone support)
Holiday: 20 days per year plus bank holidays
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Coordinator to join our busy 24/7 helpdesk team. You will be part of a fast-paced environment supporting our retail and hospitality contracts, ensuring efficient coordination of engineers and smooth delivery of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the diaries of 10–15 engineers, scheduling jobs and allocating tasks efficiently..
2. Arrange materials, parts, and resources required for jobs.
3. Book and confirm engineer appointments, ensuring timely completion of works.
4. Liaise with clients and engineers to provide updates and resolve any issues.
5. Support the out-of-hours team by providing on-call telephone support on a rota basis (1 week in 7).
6. Maintain accurate records of calls, jobs, and materials within the service management system.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in a service coordination, helpdesk, or FM scheduling role.
8. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
9. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
10. Confident using scheduling or CAFM software.
11. Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
