Socode are working with a Cambridge-based medical robotics company building innovative technology for minimally invasive procedures. As their Clinical Engineering team grows, they’re hiring a Graduate Clinical Engineer to support hands-on testing and product development.
This is a practical, lab-focused role in a regulated environment. You’ll help plan and run experiments, test prototypes, analyse results and feed findings back into the design team. It’s a good fit for a graduate who wants real responsibility early on and exposure to how medical devices are actually developed.

What will you be doing?
* Helping design and run structured test programmes
* Setting up and improving benchtop test rigs
* Testing prototypes and recording performance data
* Analysing results and supporting technical investigations
* Writing clear reports to document findings

* Working closely with engineers and clinicians in the lab
What are they looking for?
* An engineering degree in biomedical, mechanical, robotics or something similar
* Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work rather than purely theoretical design
* Comfortable working in a lab setting and following structured processes
* Able to analyse data and explain findings clearly
* Curious, reliable and willing to take ownership of smaller projects
Nice to have
* A postgraduate qualification
* Some experience with Python, MATLAB or basic data analysis tools
* Exposure to medical devices, healthcare tech or regulated development
