Reablement Assistant Location: Southampton Contract: Initially 3 months Hours: 37 hours per week (shift pattern) Pay: £18/hour via umbrella, £14/hour PAYE About the Role Southampton City Council is seeking compassionate and motivated Reablement Assistants to provide hands-on care and support to residents across the city. Using a strengths-based approach, you will help people achieve their reablement goals, regain independence, and improve their health and wellbeing. You will work across a 7-day service, providing care within operational hours 6:30am – 10:00pm, with visits to residents across Southampton. Key Responsibilities Provide advice, guidance, and support on community services and adult social care to help people maintain independence, health, and wellbeing. Enable people to identify their assets, networks, and aspirations, connecting them to wider opportunities and increasing confidence and self-esteem.
