About the role
As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and executing Motia's commercial strategy. Your responsibilities will range from the routine maintenance of customer pricing to identifying new commercial opportunities that support customer retention, profitability growth and operational efficiency.
As Motia explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence to enhance its commercial offering, the successful candidate will be both familiar with, and enthusiastic about, the emerging role of AI in pricing, data analytics, and decision‑making.
This is an exciting opportunity to become an influential member of a team operating in an environment where expectations are rising and product markets are evolving rapidly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set, maintain and optimise pricing across a broad customer base and multi‑product portfolio, applying existing pricing processes while helping to design and shape the next generation of tools and methodologies.
Develop a deep understanding of our fuel card pricing model as your initial priority, enabling you to contribute to its future development. Your subsequent focus will be to gain the same depth of understanding across our wider fleet‑related product range.
Monitor, interpret and leverage market trends, competitor activity and commodity price movements, providing recommendations to ensure Motia remains competitive and commercially strong.
Manage and coordinate the stakeholder approval process for pricing recommendations, working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Senior Leadership to ensure proposals are understood, aligned and signed off efficiently.
Take ownership of commercial tender responses, coordinating information from colleagues across departments to ensure submissions are accurate, compelling and delivered on time.
Conduct ad‑hoc analysis as required, generating insights that support strategic decision‑making and highlight opportunities for margin improvement, customer retention and growth.
Champion the use of AI‑driven tools and analytical capabilities to improve pricing accuracy, responsiveness and scalability across Motia's commercial operations.
