Description
We are offering a 12 month maternity cover fixed term contract and welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
About the role
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to cover maternity leave in Horsham office. The role will focus on preparing statutory accounts for audit with the majority of the clients being in the not-for-profit sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing team.
Key tasks expected within the role include:
* Oversee a team preparing statutory accounts for audit from trial balance under FRS102 and Charity SORP
* Preparation and review of consolidated accounts
* Dealing with regulatory disclosure requirements
* Supervision of seniors & assistants who are involved in production and delivery of work
* Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients
What we're looking for
* Experience with full FRS 102 and FRS 102 1a accounts and Charity SORP
* Experience of preparation of group accounts and consolidations preferred
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Team player who can work independently when required
* Ability to prioritise, every day is different
