Receptionist & Community Manager
Bristol
£34,970 PA
We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate receptionist & Community Manager to take full ownership of the front of house services at an office building in Redcliffe Quay Bristol, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm.
You will genuinely enjoy hosting and excel at building positive relationships to enhance the front of house experience. With your creative flair, you will plan and organise pop ups and events to help create a welcoming, community focused atmosphere for everyone working in the building. You will work closely with the building manager to ensure smooth and efficient building operations.
You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Hours & Salary
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm - £34,970 per annum.



Key Responsibilities

Reception Management
* Set up and maintain a welcoming, professional reception area that reflects the expectations of both clients and tenants
* Greet and manage all visitors, becoming the friendly and familiar face of the building
* Oversee all deliveries, including couriers and post
* Provide general administrative support as required
* Submit weekly reports on site activity, where necessary
General Building Management
* Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, agents, and contractors
* Ensure the reception area is consistently presented to the highest standard
* Liaise with the building manager to ensure contractor works are carried out efficiently
* Identify and report issues promptly, following through to resolution
* Take a proactive, solution-focused approach to day-to-day challenges
Tenant Experience & Community Engagement
* Produce a comprehensive local amenities guide and develop in-depth knowledge of the surrounding area
* Create and circulate an engaging monthly tenant newsletter
* Research and implement added-value services (with client approval) such as car valeting, dry cleaning, fitness memberships, professional networking, and sustainability initiatives
* Negotiate tenant discounts or complimentary offers with local shops, restaurants, and gyms (subject to client approval)
* Organise and support promotional activities, such as pop-up markets and seasonal events (e.g. summer and Christmas functions), supporting local businesses wherever possible



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Experience in a front-of-house, hospitality, or corporate reception role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident using PCs, with the ability to learn new software quickly
* Familiarity with social media platforms
* Event planning and coordination skills
* Desirable: Experience using Canva or other graphic design tools
* Advantageous: Understanding of building operations and facilities management
