Hales Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Beccles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company committed to sustainability and innovation.
You’ll be part of a high-performing maintenance team, working on a rotating 4-3-3 shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days and nights, Monday to Friday). Your focus will be on preventative and reactive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response.
Support autonomous maintenance programs and CI initiatives.
Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and 6S practices.
Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Take ownership of tasks and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical).
Strong understanding of a second discipline.
Experience with production equipment maintenance and refurbishment.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a team player.

LOCATION: Beccles
PAY: Base Salary £46,366.65 per annum, increasing on successful completion of probation period.
HOURS: Full-time position based on 4-3-3 day and night shifts, Monday to Friday, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am.
TERM: Permanent
