We are seeking an innovative, child focused and strengths-based support practitioners to be part of our Targeted Early Help offer within our outstanding Childrens Services. As a Service, it is our aim to ensure that children and families, often with complex and varying needs, receive the right help at the right time as part of a multi-agency team of support. As a Child and Family Support Practitioner you will deliver strengths-based support and interventions. Your approach will be underpinned by relationship-based practice, modelling how best to work with families and, as lead practitioner, challenge and support partner agencies to work effectively with children and families. If you are a creative and innovative practitioner with a passion for working with children and families, motivated by working in a fast-paced environment and excited about change and practice development, then wed love to hear from you. This post is suitable as a job sharing position. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team. We require the successful candidate to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C1: Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly.
