Job Description
Here’s what you’ll do:
* Conduct external and internal security patrols and conduct routine tests of security equipment.
* Accurately maintain all logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
* Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
* Monitor and escort visitors and staff within secure zones around the site. Keeping vigilant, ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
* Display an outstanding level of customer service and the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
* Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.
Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
* Hold British Nationality and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years (due to the nature of clearance required for this site).
* Valid, current SIA license.
* Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle (and willing to travel between sites mentioned above).
* Demonstrate full dedication and commitment to engaging in and completing the thorough DV clearance process.
* No current criminal convictions.
* Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry.
* Proficient in report writing to document incidents and reports clearly and accurately.
* Proficient in both speaking and written English, and the ability to convey information to a third party in a concise manner.
* Good attention to detail and have a fair knowledge of IT and access control systems.
