This is a great opportunity to join my client, a well-established, far-reaching Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of civil engineering, flood risk, and surface water drainage projects, including residential and commercial developments, sporting venues, and more. They are actively seeking a capable, driven Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of professionals in the scenic, coastal city of Brighton.

Responsibilities for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer include:
Contributing to an array of projects across the public and private sectors, including residential and commercial developments, sports stadiums and other venues, schools, infrastructure and rail, and more
Produce technical work in the mitigation of flood risk, including Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Estimation
Work with Drainage Strategies, and complete Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) design
Utilise a range of software packages to produce technical work and designs, including MicroDrainage and AutoCAD
Required skills and experience for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer include:
A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering or Hydrology
Prior experience of working in a UK-based consultancy setting, specifically in a design role
Demonstrable experience of completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Design
Competencies in Hydraulic Modelling
Experience in designing a range of infrastructure projects
Highly proficient in the use of MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer include:
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Based in the South-East of England, with knowledge of the local area
Excellent time management skills
