About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant atCoopers Croft, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence the team positively. Tasks may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and providing social and recreational activities, including medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of the role.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
