Tasks
The key responsibilities and duties of the Production Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee daily operations ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
* Lead and motivate teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
* Support and implement change initiatives with clear communication and staff engagement
* Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety, environmental regulations, and compliance with aviation standards
* Foster talent through coaching, training, and performance development
* Use data and KPIs to drive operational efficiency and lean practices
* Act as liaison with support departments to resolve operational issues and enhance performance
* Deputise for the Production Manager as needed
Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
* HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering or aircraft maintenance; or relevant experience
* Proven leadership in a unionised, operational environment
* Strong understanding of MRO processes or environment
* Knowledge or experience of aviation regulatory compliance (CAA/FAA/EASA) (desirable)
* Experience in performance management, change implementation, and continuous improvement
* Proficient in IT systems (e.g. SAP, MS Office)
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
