Sales Manager – Global Maritime Engineering
We are delighted to be supporting a global leader in maritime engineering and offshore technology, in the search for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop their commercial function.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven leader to play a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy across global Energy, Defence and Telecoms markets. You will lead a talented sales team while working closely with world-class engineering specialists to deliver high value, technically complex solutions to international clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strategic selling, building long-term client partnerships and leading winning bids for major engineering projects.
The Opportunity
As Sales Manager you will:
* Lead and develop the commercial team, driving performance and strategic growth
* Take ownership of major bids and complex sales opportunities across global markets
* Work closely with engineering teams to develop innovative technical solutions for clients
* Build and strengthen key relationships with major international customers
* Influence product and service development in response to market trends
* Play a central role in winning and delivering high value offshore engineering projects
* You will be instrumental in ensuring the business continues to deliver cutting edge solutions that meet evolving industry demands while maintaining competitive commercial positioning.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Experience in Energy, Defence, Telecoms or offshore engineering markets
* Proven success leading and developing commercial/sales teams
* Strong experience managing complex bids and technical proposals
* The ability to work closely with engineering and technical teams to create commercially viable solutions
* A track record of building strategic client relationships and negotiating major contracts
* Strong awareness of market trends and emerging technologies
* Experience within environments such as subsea systems, cable lay equipment, pipe lay equipment, or offshore handling equipment would be highly advantageous.
