About the role:
The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Denmark Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting ECGs, Spacelabs Holter analysis, and Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETT). Experience in Head-Up Tilt Testing (HUTT) and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities as a Cardiac Physiologist:
You will perform and interpret ECGs, conduct Spacelabs Holter analysis, and administer and interpret Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETT). Additionally, having experience in HUTT and CPET is a plus. You will provide accurate and timely reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac diagnostics and treatments. You will ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Essential:
o Clinical ECG / ABPM experience.
o Relevant qualifications and experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
o IBHRE or BHRS accreditation.
o Experience in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics.
* Desirable:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
o Commitment to patient care and safety.
