Join our Team: HSE Advisor
Ballymoney - 39 hours
Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated HSE Advisor to contribute to the Ballymoney team.
As a key member of our team, you will partner with the management team to foster a safety-first culture and drive our Zero Harm goal. Your proactive approach will help ensure the business is compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, while continuously improving our safety performance.
Main Duties & responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance to local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies and requirements.
2. HSE Performance KPI reporting, environmental monitoring and measurement.
3. Leading HSE Steering meetings, Safety Committees.
4. Assistance in the Claims management process.
5. Review of HSE Risk Assessment, Policies and Procedures regularly.
6. To provide support on HSE and continuous improvement Projects.
7. To carry out Accident/Incident investigations on site and provide support to other investigations.
8. Working with regulatory enforcement agencies / Insurance agencies / occupational health providers.
9. Identify requirements and deliver for HSE Training. Deliver HSE training as necessary.
10. Collaborate with site teams; leadership, production, engineering, logistics, purchasing to ensure completion of HSE improvement plans, deployment of HSE/SIF roadmaps and to ensure safe working environment.
11. Collaborate within the site and externally to ensure the safety of contractors and visitors.
12. Support HSE budget as necessary; to process purchase orders and resolving invoice purchase order queries.
13. Coordinating and consulting with leadership teams.
14. Any other tasks and duties deemed reasonable
The successful candidate must have:
15. A NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar. (Will candidates working towards qualification)
16. Experience gained in a similar role.
17. Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
18. A good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and Display Screen Equipment.
The below would also be desirable though not essential:
19. Ability to demonstrate significant experience of working within manufacturing environment
20. NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate
21. NEBOSH Environment Certificate or similar.
22. NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Well being at work
23. Train the Trainer Certificate
24. Knowledge of PPC Regulations, UK Packaging regulations,

30. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
