Female PE Teacher - ReadingFull Time | Permanent | September 2025 StartMPS/UPS Pay Scale
A high-performing and supportive secondary school in Reading, part of a successful multi-academy trust, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, permanent basis.
Please note: This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, as the role involves teaching girls' PE.

Key Responsibilities:
* Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE PE
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging physical education lessons
* Contribute to extracurricular sport and physical activity programmes
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting lessons to suit all learners
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Experience teaching PE to secondary pupils, including at GCSE level
* A passion for physical education and encouraging active, healthy lifestyles
* Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive education
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to whole-school life
