Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a programme of resident engagement in line with District and Council priorities.
* Work closely with partners to identify key issues, coordinate joint operations and ensure residents receive appropriate support.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, helping resolve issues and escalating concerns where needed.
* Coordinate engagement logistics, including activity planning, briefings, risk assessments, and communications materials.
* Oversee the collection and use of data, insight and feedback to inform future engagement and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
* Experience of engaging and supporting residents, ideally in a public or voluntary sector setting, with a proven ability to respond to concerns, make referrals, and deliver effective, person-centred engagement activities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to build trust with residents and partners, present information clearly, and respond to issues using initiative and sound judgement.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise work, collect and interpret data and insight, and use ICT systems (e.g. Word, Excel, databases) confidently and accurately.
