This is a superb Sales Manager opportunity with a highly sought-after luxury hotel in Liverpool. This is a proactive, hands-on Sales Manager role driving Meeting and Events and Groups (MICE) business into this stunning hotel property, which is part of a global upscale brand. Part of the hotel sales team and reporting into the Commercial Director for the hotel.
About the role
Drive MICE from across the local Liverpool and wider North West markets, into the hotel.
Manage relationships with key MICE clients and agents.
Regular face-to-face appointments per week to source new business.
Work closely with the Commercial Director and wider sales team.
Network and influence the brand sales team and management company national sales team too.
Hold site visits and client entertainment as required.
Produce sales activity reports as required.
What we are looking for
Hotel MICE sales experience is essential.
Current experience within the Liverpool market is highly desirable.
A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential.
A self-motivated, driven, commercially aware and results orientated, and proactive attitude is required.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
A full and clean driving licence and own car are required.
