About the role
We are looking for a National Account Manager who can own and deepen relationships with our key distribution partners, drive volume and quality to deliver exceptional results, playing a central part in April’s next chapter. You will join a passionate and ambitious team.
This role sits at the centre of our distribution strategy and is perfect for someone who loves variety, working at pace and the chance to make a real difference.
What you will be doing
· Building and maintaining senior relationships across networks, clubs and key intermediary partners; delivering volume, quality and product mix targets
· Responsible for ownership and governance of national accounts, with accurate record keeping in line with compliance standards
· Managing projects that enable growth and make life easier for our partners
· Representing April at industry events and with senior external stakeholders
· Developing, managing and executing annual business plans for each major account.
· Working cross functionally with marketing, compliance, product and analytics teams to continually improve product, processes and tools
What we are looking for
· A can do attitude with natural self-motivation and positivity, real roll your sleeves up and get stuck in energy!
· Analytical thinker who enjoys using data and MI to drive conversations and decisions.
· Incredible communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholders.
· Commercially savvy and a confident presenter.
· Strong organisational and project management skills.
· Excellent knowledge of the UK mortgage industry and experience of B2B sales & relationship management.
· Willingness to travel around the UK (with opportunity for occasional trips to The Netherlands) and a valid UK driving licence.
· Commutable distance to London. While we are flexible, we do find the magic happens when we are together. Expect three days a week in London unless you are at events or out in the field.
