Join to apply for the Health care support worker Older Peoples & Stroke Services role at NHS Scotland.
Full-time (37 hrs) available. 12-hour day shift/night shift rotation.
We are seeking individuals to join the team in QEUH, Older Peoples & Stroke Services, Acute Assessment Ward 2a.
Responsibilities
* Assist trained nursing staff in delivery of patient care procedures and basic nursing care to patients.
* Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living.
* Co‑operate with and maintain good relationships with other disciplines attending and treating service users to maximise patient care.
* Provide an empathic approach to clients’ carers and relatives, referring them to a trained nurse for any queries or concerns.
Qualifications & Preferences
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in an acute setting is preferred but not essential.
* Prior hospital experience is desirable.
